Must Reads: Shameless Rereadables

It's always unexpected--
You walk into your favorite bookstore, or scroll through your preferred ebook platform, looking for your next read, when you come across a blurb that stops you completely in your tracks. You no longer care about any other book in the store, because you need this particular book. Right. Now. So you rush to the checkout as fast as you can.
You can't wait to crack open that spine, or warm up that tablet.
You dig into the story, and realize--
There's no way you're going to make it to your next social engagement, because this book couldn't possibly be put down!
You may have been lured in by a fantastic blurb, or a pretty cover, but even that did do this story justice. This story is amazing! You read it cover to cover so fast that you give your mind whiplash, and force yourself into an unforgivable book hangover.
And what's the cure for a book hangover?
Well, you could-- go buy a new book to get lost in, but then you're willingly giving up the characters that you've grown to love so hard in such a short, sweet time.
But, you're not a monster...
You gotta read that book again!
I am a rereader.
If a story gets to me, I will read it so many times that I can almost recite it by heart. I feel absolutely no shame in loving fictional characters obsessively, or choosing to live inside their world longer than I should.
That's how you know a book is truly great!
I have experienced this feeling with many many books, but there are five books in particular that I cannot get out of my head, not that I've tried. These stories are so good, and so addictive. Their blurbs are amazing, and their covers are gorgeous.
I highly suggest you read them as soon as you possibly can.
But before I move on, you must know...
I hold no responsibility for any book hangovers you receive, or if you lose a friend, or two, because you forgot they actually existed. That's not on me, and I'm not even sorry. These books will rock your world, and I am super excited to share them with you!!

Black Swan Affair
by K.L. Krieg
I’ve loved him as long as I can remember.
The gangly boy with big brown eyes and unruly hair who grew up into an intoxicating man. He wears scruff like he invented it and ambles with a swagger that makes panties drop.
Killian Shepard.
Shep.
We grew up together. We played Ghost in the Graveyard. Had our own rock band. It didn’t matter that he was five years older than me. It didn’t matter that he looked at me as a kid sister even as I grew into woman. It didn’t even matter when he left me behind to go to college and start his adult life.
He’d be back.
He was always meant to be mine.
He came back, all right. But instead of smelling of promises, he stunk of betrayal. And he destroyed me—us—the day he married my sister instead of me.
So I did the only thing a girl like me in my position could do.
I got my revenge.
I married his brother, Kael.
Now we’re one big happy f*cking family.

Loving Mr. Daniels
by Brittainy C. Cherry
To Whom it May Concern,
It was easy to call us forbidden and harder to call us soulmates. Yet I believed we were both. Forbidden soulmates.
When I arrived to Edgewood, Wisconsin I didn’t plan to find him. I didn't plan to stumble into Joe's bar and have Daniel's music stir up my emotions. I had no clue that his voice would make my hurts forget their own sorrow. I had no idea that my happiness would remember its own bliss.
When I started senior year at my new school, I wasn’t prepared to call him Mr. Daniels, but sometimes life happens at the wrong time for all the right reasons.
Our love story wasn’t only about the physical connection.
It was about family. It was about loss. It was about being alive. It was silly. It was painful. It was mourning. It was laughter.
It was ours.
And for those reasons alone, I would never apologize for Loving Mr. Daniels.

Bad Penny
by Staci Hart
Nothing good comes after the third date.
Date three is the crucial point when things get real, which is exactly why I bounce out the door, twiddling my fingers at whatever poor boy I’ve left behind. Because if I stick around, one of three things will happen: he’ll profess his undying love, he’ll get weird and stalky, or I’ll go crazy. Like, Sid and Nancy crazy. Like, chase-him-through-the-streets-begging-him-to-love-me crazy.
Seriously, it’s better for everyone this way.
So when I meet Bodie, I figure it’ll be the same as it ever was. It doesn’t matter that he doesn’t put a single string on me. Doesn’t matter that he’s funny and smart and jacked or that he can play my body like a grand piano. Because even though I’m built for love, love has only carved me up like a Christmas ham.
Resistance is something I can only hang on to for so long, and he has persistence in spades. But my heart isn’t as safe as I want to believe, and neither is his. And the second I ignore my cardinal rule is the second I stand to lose him forever.

Skater Boy
by Mary Catherine Gebhard
Rebels. Misfits. Bad boys who rule the streets. Everyone’s welcome at the worst kept secret in town, just as long as you don’t mind getting your reputation—and your heart—a little dirty.
Welcome to Patchwork House…
Patchwork House is a boy’s club—a mean boy’s club. They made an exception for Tweetie once, and they’re going to make another, because she’s coming home. After two years away and one too many broken hearts, Tweetie swore off skaters—but she never expected Flip.
Flip was the most famous skater in the world until he traded his place at Patchwork with the little girl whose life he ruined. Now Tweetie’s all grown up, and one chance encounter brings them together. He knows the right thing to do is disappear before things get ugly, but he never was very good at being good.
She’s back, and so is he—all bets are off. Nothing will stop this bad boy from finally getting his lost girl. They’re written in the stars, and it’s time she knows it.
The first lesson Flip taught Tweetie was how to fall.It was also the last thing she remembered when they met again, because she didn’t just fall for him.
She slammed.

Mister Weston
by Whitney G
Fuck me recklessly
Kiss me harder.
Take me again and again…
He and I met under a cloud of clich├ęs:
Boy meets girl. Boy charms girl. Boy fucks girl.
Our story was supposed to end right after the orgasms, right after we went our separate ways.
But then we saw each other again…
And neither of us could walk away.
Our rules were simple.
Our passion was scandalous.
Our hearts were supposed to be safe…
But when you find something so all-consuming—something so intoxicating and inescapable, you’ll risk everything you’ve ever had, even if you’re destined to crash and burn.
This is us.
This is our messed up love.
This is turbulence.
Available on Kindle Unlimited.
