What inspires you, or where do you look for inspiration?
Music is a big inspiration to me. It can create a mood, memory and make me dance. I don't really look for inspiration. I know what environments supply me with inspiration. It usually happens when I'm in the car or zoning out, in the shower, doing dishes. It's times when my brain is free to wonder.
What is your most favorite time in History?
I like the Victorian era. The uncomfortable fashion, the grandeur of homes, the innocence of the time. Also, there was the wild west.
Who are three women in time, real or imaginary, worth looking up to? Why?
Harriet Tubman, because one person can make a difference and save tons of lives. Helen Keller, even if you have a disadvantage you can use it to your advantage and be extraordinary. Anne Frank, she made me believe words are powerful! I know this sounds like a school report but these ladies made history for good reasons.

What kind of drunk person do you turn into when you drink?
I'm a sleepy drunk. I pass out. Then, I stir four hours later wide awake. lol
If you could be any color in the big box of crayons, which one would you be?
Cerulean, it's a pretty blue that sounds like an alien race.

Swenson's Sticky Chewy Chocolate ice cream. Yeah, it's just as good as it sounds.
What is your biggest baddest guilty pleasure?
Guylian Belgian chocolate with hazelnut filling
Who is your favorite author, and/or what is your favorite book?
C.L.O.U.D.S. by Pat Cummings. It was the first book I checked out multiple times at the library.Yes, I know it's a children's book. It's still the bomb. I mean, she wrote a book about artists whose job is to paint the sky. Genius.
If you could throw a parade, what type of parade would you throw and why?
Oh, man. I'd love to throw a parade like the one in the movie Ferris Bueller. Everyone can dance and just have fun.
Do you ever hide secrets in your books that only a few people would find?
Yes, I like to include some of my favorite things in my books. It makes it that more personal. In my book My Pin-up Girl, the main characters are named after movie characters that I love.😉
What is one food, or drink, that you could NEVER give up?
Cheerios! It's a lifetime love.
What was the hardest scene, or book, for you to write?
The reconciliation scene. In a scene where the couple comes together, the words have to be precise and believable. It's a delicate dance that you want to get right.
Do any of the scenes in your books come from personal experience, or actually events, and are you willing to tell us about one?
Yes, there's a scene in My Pin-up Girl that has happened to me.The heroine forgets she's not wearing a bra under a sheen white t-shirt. Well, the hero gets an eyeful. I hate wearing bras.
If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
Long John Silver's Chicken planks with extra crumbs. Yeah, I don't like seafood but I love their greasy batter goodness.
If you were forced to open a bakery, what would you name it?
Bluffin with my Muffin
Would You Rather...
Be permanently transported 200 years into the future, or be permanently transported 200 years into the past?
I'd love to go 200 years into the past. I mean, ideally I'd love to go back to 1743 and get me an Outlander but 1817 is cool too.
What are you currently working on?
I'm working on the second book in the "My Girl series," called My Hook Up Girl. It's Evie's story and she gets herself a delicious Alpha male.
What other plans do you have with your writing?
Oh, my goodness. I have two other books I'm writing, along with Evie's story. One is a shifter book and the other is a Boss RomCom. It's on like Donkey Kong.
When is your next book possibly going to release?
It'll be next year (2018) sometime. I'm striving for January, but no definite date set yet.
