Rules of Engagement Final Jacket
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: January 17, 2018

Rule No. 1: Do not enter the game unless you intend to finish. Once accepted, there is no escape. This is a love story, one that comes with rules, expectations, and dark shadows. One where the man who challenges me the most is cloaked in deception. I had no choice but to accept the terms, nowhere to run once the clock started ticking. Donovan Stone was a man few people dared to cross. He was dark. He was dominating. He was so silent that you had to watch him closely to begin to know what he was thinking. He was my boss, and the man I should have run from the minute I walked into his corporate office. Like any bad decision, it took time for me to see the truth about the game I’d entered, for me to understand that it wasn’t the stalker in the shadows I should fear, but the man who pulled the strings. I had no choice. At least, that’s the lie I told myself to forgive my foolish actions. And while running as fast as I could through twisted mazes and deceitful games, I understood that the Rules of Engagement were now my life.

Genre: Dark Romance
Release Date: November 27, 2017
A new romance by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Clarissa Wild!
People say I'm ferocious. Wild. Dangerous.
They're right. That's why I live on an island alone.
The jungle is my home. My personal prison.
Until she arrived.
The moment her helicopter crashed on my land, everything changed.
She's the only survivor ... And I'm keeping her locked up in a pit.
It's been too long since I last touched a woman, especially one so beautiful.
It makes me hunger for her.
I want her ... So I'll keep her ...
And I'll make her mine.
LOCKED is a full length standalone, complete at 70000 words. No Cliffhanger. Bonus content included.

I first want to mention that I watched every episode of this show called “Lost” that once aired on TV. The reason I mention this, is because this story made me want to watch the series all over again. The two are not related, and they only have like two or three things in common, and I promise it’s not the ending. The ending of this book did not suck.
Okay. Now I will move onto the reason for this review: this amazing book. Lock and Jules had the irresistible sexual tension, the guilty and stubborn push and pull, and all the hotness you would ever want in a stranded on a deserted island story. There was action, and there was angst. What I liked most of all though, was that there were layers upon layers or mystery and back stories that I couldn’t wait to find out! I read this story all the way through without stopping. I HAD to know what the next page would bring. I didn’t love the characters, only because they both would annoy the crap out of me at times, BUT I liked them enough to still love this story over all.
This is a dark-ish, and suspenseful story with a satisfying ending. I would recommend this book to just about anybody. I need to end this review here though, because any more words from me would lead to spoiling the entire story, and I REALLY want others to read it too!
He nods again and points at the shower. “Go on then.”
“What? Now?” I say, looking down at myself. I’m still dressed. “I don’t want my clothes to get wet.”
He shrugs. “Then take them off.”
My lips part, but I have no idea how to respond.
All I can do is stare in amazement.
Did he actually just tell me to take off my clothes?
“What?” I repeat, for clarification.
“Take ’em off.”
He’s serious. He’s dead serious, and that stern stare almost makes me want to do it.
But no, my morals have to get in the way again.
“No,” I say, folding my arms. “I’m not going nude …”
He frowns and shrugs again. “Suit yourself.”
He seems genuinely disappointed as he turns back around again. As if he’s upset that I won’t try his makeshift shower even though I want to. I just can’t … not when he’s watching.
“I’ll do it,” I say.
He stops in his tracks and glances over his shoulder, waiting for more.
“But you can’t watch,” I add.
His shoulders rise and fall, and he gives me a quick nod. “I’ll be down there.” He points at the small lake. “If you need me.”
“Yeah …”
Wait, do I need him? No. Maybe.
Fuck. I don’t. I don’t know anything anymore.
I peek at the shower, but my eyes still revert to him. And they stay there … glued … because he’s untying the rope around his waist.
And the banana leaves drop to the ground.
My eyes widen.
Butt naked and in its full glory.
Cheeks squeezed together, thighs muscular and thick.
And an enormous dick dangling between his legs.
I struggle to keep my tongue inside … struggle to even breathe properly.
Until he glances my way.
In shock, I quickly dive behind the wood and grasp my chest. As if that will help me from having a heart attack after being caught staring at a naked man.
And what a man he is … Wow. I still can’t get that image out of my mind, and I don’t even wanna try. All I can do is grin as I start undressing, wishing I wasn’t so easily persuaded to ogle a man because of his dick.
But Jesus Christ … that dick.

When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.
I was the awkward musician, and she was the high school queen.
The only things we had in common were our music and our loneliness.
Something in her eyes told me her smile wasn’t always the truth.
Something in her voice gave me a hope I always wished to find.
And in a flash, she was gone.
Years later, she was standing in front of me on a street in New Orleans.
She was different, but so was I. Life made us colder. Harder. Isolated.
Even though we were different, the broken pieces of me recognized the sadness in her.
Now she was back, and I wouldn’t make the mistake of letting her go again.
When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.
When we met again, she was the darkest storm.

As soon as I started reading I knew this book was going to be an emotional rollercoaster. This was a story I savoured and took my time with it really is that good.
Of the two main characters Elliott and Jasmine I’m really not sure who I liked the most. When we first met them it took me back to my school days. I’m sure I’m not the only person who will be able to relate to the socially awkward and shy Elliott. The saying ‘old soul in a young body’ fits him perfectly, when we see him come alive through his music it is truly beautiful.
Jasmine is a young woman who looks like she has it all but underneath her pain is like a festering wound. Struggling under the weight of a parents ambition, Jasmine is a people pleaser who only wants to be loved.
This story is written beautifully, the way the author pulls you in by her words is breathtaking. Several times I walked away because I was there feeling every harsh word, feeling every conflicting emotion and feeling the gentle stirrings of first love. I’ve read books where the characters are described as soul mates and not felt it but this book these characters truly are the only one for each other.
This is one of my favourite books this year and as an introduction to a new to me author it couldn’t have been better.
