When is your birthday?
September 3rd. I’m going to be Dirty Thirty this year!!Where did you grow up?
I grew up everywhere. I’ve moved a total of 15 times and most of those were in the first 15 years of my life. But for the longest time, I called Cincinnati home. It’s where I want to settle eventually and be close to my family. I include the wonderful city in all my books! Are you a morning person, or a night person?
Night!! Fuck mornings! Why did you choose to write for the genre that you do?
I love, love, love romance. It’s pretty much all I read besides and occasional mystery/suspense … but when you mix the two, I’m in heaven. Otherwise, I didn’t mean to write such sexy books. It kind of just happened. I like to call it accidental erotica. What is your favorite season or holiday?
I love the spring and fall seasons because it’s not too hot or cold. Unfortunately, in Tennessee we get Mostly summer and a couple weeks of ice. Otherwise, I love Christmas. We celebrate Christmas big in my family and are just together in my grandma’s house for the better part of a week and we drink, eat, drink, play games, drink, eat, and drink. It’s glorious! What is the wallpaper on your cellphone?
The wallpaper it came with. I’m so lazy. Haha! What inspires you, or where do you look for inspiration?
Music. Always music. I will be driving in a car and a song will come on and I can start piecing a story together as I listen. I love music. What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
I got my bachelors in biology and chemistry because I wanted to do research. I did a good amount in college and had a few papers published. However, my family came first in the situation and I was needed at home. So now I’m rocking the stay at home thing and enjoying them while I can. Most of the time. My three-year-old is winning her war on my sanity. Haha!Who is the first person you call when you are having a bad day?
My husband. What kind of drunk person do you turn into when you drink?
Oh goodness …. Haha! I’m a super happy, talkative drunk. I talk a lot when I’m sober, but when I’m drunk, I never shut up. But at least I’m happy. What do you put on your pizza?
Sausage, onion, mushroom, and green peppers! Bacon if I can! Because BACON IS LIFE!What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Cookies and Cream made by HomemadeDo you eat your feelings, or starve them?
Eat them. Eat all of them!Do you believe in Ghosts? Aliens? Big Foot?
I try not to think of ghosts because the thought of them scares me. I’d be naïve and arrogant to think we were the only living things in the entire universe. It’s freaking massive. Probably not a real big foot.Who is your favorite author, and/or what is your favorite book?
Tiffany Reisz!!! Oh, my goodness, I love her books so much. Her Original Sinners series was my jam. It was beautifully written, different, and made me want to be into BDSM and a better Catholic all at once. It’s an odd mix. And her character STUCK with me. I can move past books fairly quickly, but I still randomly just stop to think about the characters and how much I love her books! What was the hardest scene, or book, for you to write?
So, I have this unfinished book on my computer. I had a cover reveal for it and everything, but then I realized it needed a lot more work …. And I just couldn’t. It’s a very, VERY personal book for me and when it came to make big changes, I just didn’t have the mental ability to step back into it. I think about Drowning to Let Go often. A LOT! And some day I will publish it. Just not yet. What is your most favorite quote or lyric?
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.Do you sing in the shower?
All the time.Do any of the scenes in your books come from personal experience, or actually events, and are you willing to tell us about one?
There is one in Shame Me Not …. And no, I won’t share which one. Hahaha! Also, that Drowning to Let Go has a lot of personal experiences in it.Are you a Clutter Queen or a Neat Freak?
Both, which really sucks. Haha!
Would You Rather...See but never smell, or hear but never taste?
See, but never smell. (These are horrible options by the way. LOL!)
Coming Soon...What are you currently working on?
I’m working on Juliana and Shane’s book. These are two characters that have cameos in my first two books. It’s a funny, erotic romance hopefully releasing in November. What other plans do you have with your writing?
I’m actually really excited about a student/teacher erotic book I’ll write next year and hopefully publish in the spring. But one book at a time. When is you next book possibly going to release?
Late November, before Thanksgiving.
Who is Fiona Cole?
I never imagined I would ever write a book. I wasn't even really a reader until the age of twenty. But I picked up a romance and that was it for me. I fell in love. And then one day I stepped into this indie world of books and I started writing. Then I wrote enough to keep going. And then I had a book. Sometimes things happen when you least expect it, but it all falls into place. Writing is it for me.
I'm a stay at home mom with a degree in chemistry and biology. I LOVE science. If you get me started talking about biochemistry, it's all over. I'll rattle on for days! But I use all that knowledge to take care of my two little girls. Mostly while my husband is away being a soldier.
It's taken me a long time to get here, but I like it ... And I think I might stay a while.
