Synopsis
The concluding book in Becca and Evan's story is LIVE!!!
Escaping to Credence was supposed to be Becca's shot at a new life, but some secrets refuse to stay hidden, and now that the truth is out, everything changes.
Everything.
The people she thought she could trust lied. The guy she thought cared about her kept her in the dark. And with no one to turn to, Becca finds it hard to unravel the truth. When she finally does, her past and present collide in a way no one saw coming.
The truth can hurt you ... Some dares will destroy you.

--------------------UB Review--------------------
The cliffhanger ending from the first book left my mind spinning, and I was immediately anxious for this book to come out. I needed the answers to so many questions, and I wanted a HEA! This book delivers all of that and so much more! It has absolutely everything you need to complete an already amazing story. Becca and Evan...omg, you guys...I cannot even put into words, how these characters made me feel. The emotions are strong, and you can really feel right along with the characters. I read this book cover to cover without stopping and I was constantly guessing and being surprised. The story ended exactly the way it should, and I was satisfied with the events described throughout. The characters were intense, but relatable. The story was suspenseful, and not at all predictable. I loved this story. Everyone should read this book! It has a little bit of everything. An excellent read for any type of reader. I would give it more stars if that were an option.

-----------------------Q&A-----------------------

If you had to pick celebrities to cast as your characters in the Liar Liar duet for a blockbuster movie, who would you pick?
Becca - Cara Delevingne

Evan - Steven McQueen
Scarlett - Fairuza Balk (circa 'The Craft')
Malachi - Colton Haynes (with a buzz cut)
Lilly - Lilly Collins
Jay - Sam Claflin
Kendall - Olivia Wilde (circa 'Tron')
Kane - Kellan Lutz

Do you have a soundtrack for the series? If so, what would be the theme song for this duet and/or songs for important scenes?
I have a whole playlist of songs that inspired / fit the book, but the three stand out tracks would have to be:

Stay by Rihana and Mikky Eko - this song IS Becca and Evan's relationship. It sums up their personal struggles and also their fight to be together
Issues by Julia Michaels - could fit so many of the relationships in the series. Becca and Evan; Lilly and Jay; Becca and Kane ... it shows the complexity of the characters and it's one of my favourite songs of the year so far!
Glory and Gore by Lorde - I am a huge fan of Lorde and this song really represents the daily struggles faced by the kids at Credence

Which character was the most difficult to write? which one was your favorite?
I adored writing Evan - I'm a sucker for a broken boy with a good heart. Kendall grated on me, she's so mean, and getting in Kane's head was a bit of a trip!

What inspired this story?
The cover! I stumbled across the pre-made and knew I had to have it... I wanted to know her story, and slowly it started to unfold. The title used on the pre-made was 'Cool Kids' which got me thinking, but I didn't want to write about kids that had it easy.

What do you hope that your readers take away from this story ?
I wanted to write a story that didn't paint this picture perfect ideal of being a growing up. It's hard, it's messy, and we don't always make the right choices ... and that's okay. We learn by our mistakes and it's okay to talk to people about our problems - after all, a problem shared, is a problem halved!

Synopsis
For eighteen-year-old Becca Torrence, the chance to finish high school in a new town, where no one knows her or the secrets of that night, should be a dream come true. But when the first day of school rolls around, something is wrong.
Instead of being greeted with warm smiles and reassuring hellos, Becca finds herself on the receiving end of icy stares and cruel whispers. Putting it down to her status as an outsider, she holds her head high, because they can’t know.
They can’t.
Can they?
Determined to make her new life in Credence work, Becca is willing to do whatever it takes to fit in. Even if it means losing herself in the process.
A white lie can save you … Too many lies will break you.

OMG...
This story was amazing!!! The secrets, the angst, the layers...I loved. It. All. I'm all geared up, and I cannot wait to see how this story ends. Cliffhangers usually annoy the crap out of me, but I'm actually excited to find out more! I will suggest the book to others, but I need to see how it all concludes... if I could describe this story with only one word I would say: goosebumps. OH.MY.GOSH!!!

LA Cotton
Author of mature young adult and new adult novels, L A is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.
Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find L A immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
