The stunning conclusion to the Brajj trilogy!
-------------------UB REVIEW-------------------
After jumping through a wormhole to god knows where, Captain Lewis and Ta'mat are faced with an unexpected situation. Meanwhile Cass and Jeamon are dealing with their own problems, trying to save themselves and the future of the Brajj.
This was a great ending to the series. In the first two books we learned about this new civilization on another world, watched the fall of a merciless ruler, the rise of a queen, and hope for her people. We read of a being who did everything she could to save her world, and we read about a love that fought for itself.
This story was well written, and we saw the characters that we fell in love with in the fist two books go through difficult times and face many different evils. This author created a world that pulls you in and keeps you there until the end. Once I started reading this series, I did not want to put it down, I HAD to know what was going to happen next. This book was the perfect conclusion to the story. Jacqueline Patricks did not disappoint.

-------------------UB REVIEW-------------------

The first installment into the Brajj series, gives you a good look into the world that Dr Cassiopeia Baros has only dreamt about.
After creating a wormhole to another world, Dr Baros and her team face nightmarish creatures and witness what some would call miracles only to find out this dream world is more of a nightmare, and more like their own home than they expected.
This sci-fi romance is an interesting take on parallel worlds, time travel, and aliens. The romance in this story doesn't overwhelm the sci-fi element and is a nice break from all the crazy events taking place. There are a couple rape scenes that I wasn't prepared for, not totally graphic, but hard to read regardless.
The writing was consistent and easy to read. The author did a great job portraying this other world and the inhabitants.

-------------------UB REVIEW-------------------
The second installment in the Brajj series, we now know the mysteries surrounding the Brajj and Cass' relationship to them. The story starts off with Captain Lewis and his team returning through the wormhole back home, while Cass has decided to stay with Jeamon and try to save the Brajj.
This book was easy to read, and the writing consistent. The story was action packed, and the intensity from the first book continued throughout this one. We gain more insight on Ta'mat's mind and the things she had to do to save her world.
Captain Lewis, still dealing with the deaths of him team and the responsibility he hold for them, has impossible choices to make and may be the key to saving his friends, and his world from disaster.
